“Walking Tour of Granada. My husband and I e-mailed this site on the spur of the moment in hopes we could join this walking tour. We received an immediate response and were signed up for the tour the following morning. We had a nice small group of walkers and the tour was very good. We enjoyed every minute and felt it was a great value. We read about the tour in our Rick Steve’s Spain guide book”. Patti H on Tripadvisor

“Walking tour with Juan. Very interesting tour. The group was composed of the guide (Juan), 2 candidate guides, 1 spanish couple and we (belgian couple, flemish). Juan explained the interesting places first in english and thereafther in spanish (which gave me the opportunity to translate it in flemish/dutch). Juan took his time to answer all our questions”  752gv on Tripadvisor

“Very usefull and funny. Carmen is a wonderful guide with which you walk through town full of information and entertainment. To top it all she knew a lot of information to be given in an interesting way. Her English was very understandable. He carried out a lot of interesting places with amazing history. We felt welcome in her company”. Petr C on Tripadvisor

“Tour of Alhambra & Generalife. We highly recommend Juan Jimeno as a tour guide. He was very knowledgable about the site and history in general, and very nice to spend the afternoon with! He gave us very good advice on neighborhoods in Grenada as well. Be patient with emails – it takes some for responses, but they are very flexible and easy to work with. Highly recommend”. travelr14 on Tripadvisor

“Small group. Very knowledgeable tour guide. Meeting point is easy to find. Tour guide brought us to places where tourists would most likely not venture to visit. Very interesting tour with lots of information. Lots of local flair. Definitely recommend this tour.” Anna on Viator

“The best thing we could have done! The tour was good arranged. We have had some questions (per e-mail) and Cicerone answered befriend and in decent time. Our guide Beatriz did a very, very good job. She showed us Granada with – for us – a new point of view. We enjoyed her explanations about a part of the history of Granada as well as some legends. The walk took about three hours and was very factful. She put us on enquiry of some special places of the city. Altough we stayed in the Albaycin and explored lots of places by ourself before. Besides she gave us useful suggestions for the rest of our stay. When we will visit Granada again, we would definitely make more tours with Cicerone, especially with Beatriz.” 221petrak on Tripadvisor

“We went on the 10.30am tour on Monday 16th May and greatly enjoyed it. The tour guide a young lady, don’t know her name unfortunately was great, she had a wealth of knowledge and was happy to answer any questions. I would highly recommend this tour at the beginning of your trip to Granada, as you get a good overview of the main attractions Granada cathedral, Albaicin, Granada University and find out interesting facts about the city that you would not find in any tour guide or book!”, Amina on Viator

“Sophia gave us a wonderful tour of the Alhambra. The Alhambra is an amazing complex of old mosques fortresses and Moorish palaces . We were lucky to have Sophia our very knowledgeable Guide to guide us through a 4 mile trek to see this amazing complex because of the Biblical prohibition about making graven images the Decor is mostly geometric. There are no representations of people or animals Sophia helped us to understand how important it must’ve been for a desert people to create structures so full of pools fountains and greenery You will be happy to book this tour of this bucket list place” BillzoB on Tripadvisor

“We scheduled this tour without really expecting a whole lot except for beautiful twilight views of Granada and the Alhambra in the distance. What a pleasant surprise! Violeta really knew the Moorish history and culture and how the Spanish, Moorish, and gypsy cultures entwined and combined to create the vibrant, beautiful Granada of today. The Albaicin district was very interesting, especially the cave houses, and the views of Alhambra lit at night were spectacular. Ending the evening with tapas and a glass of wine was just perfect. Well done.”, Michael C. on Viator

“Walking tour of Granada. A fabulous way to see the sights – many of which you would probably not see if wandering around by yourself. The history was fascinating and Juan – our guide- was great . Very knowledgeable without getting too overloaded with dates etc !! A most memorable visit”. Delyth G on Tripadvisor

“Granada visit.  It was a very busy week in Granada, but the Cicerone people were most helpful to fit us in to their schedules … the walking Granada tour was excellent , and the private tour of the Alhambra was really worth the money…” OscarEniste on Tripadvisor

“Excellent informative walking tour.  We took the Cicerone tour about the transformation of Granada with Beatriz. Our group was bilingual, and Beatriz managed the dual languages with grace. The tour was not only informative, but brought the turbulent history of the area to life. We were treated to many insights as if we had a back stage pass to Granada. Many thanks to Beatriz for making this a very special tour”. SusannaAdams on Tripadvisor

“The trip was excellent and the guide who showed us around was very knowledgeable. He told us about the history and the pointed out the art produced in those days. A great night visit and a great follow up the next day. Five out of five.” M Hanif B on Viator

“Excellent night tour of Albaicin and Sacromonte. Our tour guide Violeta gave us the tour in English. She is very knowledgeable in the history of this area and Granada and she took us to places in these quarters which we would not be able to see on our own. We enjoyed taking pictures of Alhambra at night and walking down the streets of the area with detailed explanation of the history. The tour ended up with free tapas and drink. Violets was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend the tour for those who want to enjoy Granada at night!” Mohsen R on Tripadvisor

“Lovely time with Stephanie. My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our historical city tour with the very knowledgeable Stephanie. We learned not about not only the history of Granada, but Stephanie fielded various questions about topics surrounding the city’s past and present, including a lot of information about the Alhambra. We would definitely recommend this tour.” Jonny W on Tripadvisor

“Wonderful city walk. Beatriz was a charming and well informed guide. She added immensely to our enjoyment of the old city and the lower part of the Albayzin. Sharing history with us made our visit much richer in appreciation for the architecture, public spaces, specific buildings, and people we met along the way. We were most comfortable to venture off on our own after our time with a guide. Thanks for a wonderful experience”. Vicki1644 on Tripadvisor

“Private walking tour of Granada City Centre. My wife and I booked a two hour private walking tour of Granada City Centre through Cicerone which is the tourist office for the city. Our guide Estefania Rodriguez was very friendly and knowledgeable. She spoke perfect English and she made our tour very informative and enjoyable. We met Estefania in Bib Rambla Square and during our two hours visited Plaza del Carmen, Corral del Carbon, Alcaiceria (our favourite part of our tour the home of the Great Bazaar of Granada, originally the old silk area) Royal chapel, Palace of Madraza, Sagrario Church, the Cathedral and Plaza Nueva”. SueJim126 on Tripadvisor

“A private guided visit to the Alhambra. We were staying in Granada for three nights and had fortunately picked up that tickets for the Alhambra needed to be booked well in advance. As we are not keen on group tours but wanted to get a proper understanding of the palace and its history we decided to book a private tour. This seemed really expensive – around 180 euros for the two of us – and we hesitated a bit. However, it was worth it. We met Estefania at the entrance, she already had all of the tickets which meant no queuing and we then spent over 3 hours with her. So if you break it down into an hourly rate, its really not that much! She was incredibly knowledgeable, took great pains to make sure we spent as much time as we wanted and pointed out details and information we would never have picked up either alone or on a group tour. We could not recommend her highly enough”. Clare R on Tripadvisor

“Best way to see the Alhambra. Three well traveled people think that Beatriz Lopez was possibly the best guide we have ever had. Seeing the Alhambra with a guide is a good idea because of the sheer size of the site and the historical, architectural, and religious aspects involved. Beatriz made the Alhambra come to life for us. She has an in-depth knowledge of history, architecture, culture, and religion that enriched our experience. She is passionate about her guiding and that made touring the Alhambra with her unforgettable. She has given us so much to think about and that is the mark of a great guide. We are so glad that Cicerone assigned her to our tour”. Nancy D on Tripadvisor

“Alhambra tour. There is so much history to learn in this site, that is helpful to have a private guide. Sophia was very knowledgeable and knew how to get through the crowds easily. She had details about each area, how and when it was built, the rulers and he changes in the economy over the years. A very full half day”. Laura W on Tripadvisor

“Excellent Walking Tour.  We did a very good walking tour with Beatriz through Granada, and found her to be energetic, knowledgeable, and interesting. This was a very efficient way for us to get a flavour for the city and its history, and she also gave us some hints and tips about what to do for the remainder of our time there. Also the tour was a good price, and well worth the money. As a bonus, by the way, Beatriz is fluently trilingual (English and French, as well as Spanish)”. Elizalor on Tripadvisor

“A new view of the Alhambra. I lived as a student in Granada for 5 years. Last Autumm, I returned with a group of friends and for their sake, decided to book a tour with Cicerone. I learnt so much myself. I had been at the Alhambra so many times…but this informative guided visit made me feel I was there for the first time. Thanks so much. Unmissable!” mercedes471 on Tripadvisor
