I’m Lorena Gómez Zapata. I was born in Madrid on the 23rd of April, but when I was 4 years old I was lucky enough to move to Granada, so I consider myself to be granaina through and through!
Since the beginning of 2017 I have been part of the Cicerone family, managing the private and general reservations we get from various websites.
I love history, art, languages and cultures, so as it just couldn’t be any other way, I studied tourism at the University of Granada. As a certified “tourist”, I couldn’t help but set off and see the world: London, Edinburgh, Berlin, Copenhagen, Prague, Bergen, Japan… but I always come to the same conclusion – there is nowhere like Granada.
That magic in the air takes you back and stops time while you wander through the streets of the Albayzin, history just oozing from every nook and cranny, a mixture of cultures… but my favourite part of the city, without a doubt, is Paseo de los Tristes and Carrera del Darro. Walking by the bridges which join both sides of the river is like travelling back in time. It’s magical.
So, since we don’t have time machines, how about a trip to Granada? We’re here waiting for you!
