My name is Juan Jimeno, and I was born on 22nd August. It’s easy to catch me giving a tour that day.
I have been working for Cicerone as a guide since 2013, and before that I worked in tourism information and as an English teacher. However, I always wanted to be a guide, and I joined Cicerone as soon as I finished my degree.
I love to travel and meet people from around the world. When I am giving a tour I also feel like I am on holiday, showing people nice parts of the city that I love, just as I would for my friends.
I collect fridge magnets from different countries, so if you want to bring me one from yours, feel free! I’d be truly thankful!
I enjoy spontaneous planning, spending as much time as I can in the streets, with my books and music. I play the drums too. I can’t really give you much advice about food, because I have a delicate stomach, but I will never tire of strolling through Granada and talking about its history, and if the route ends with tapas, then we can carry on talking at the bar.
