My name is Carolina, and I have been responsible for dealing with the bookings and customer service for private visits and groups for Cicerone since March 2015. We could say that I will almost certainly be the first person you will contact when booking these types of visits..
I was born in Cordoba on the 17th April, although I have lived nearly all my life in Granada, or more accurately, in one of its nearby villages. Alfacar, which is famous for its bread, its water and its connection with Federico García Lorca.
I studied tourism at university, and have always worked in this field since then, mostly in travel agencies.
There are several places in Granada that I would consider my favourites. Once of them, for sure, would be Carrera del Darro. Just to walk by the river and enjoy this beautiful, historic spot is a privilege in itself, although no less than my other favourite place, the Alhambra forest, which is an oasis of calm that seems to take us far away from the noise of the city. Two places marked by nature and history.
As you can see, I love natural spaces and animals, but also the streets and squares in the heart of Granada.
For almost three years now, I have the good fortune to walk in these places with my twins, although since they tasted the ice-creams sold at “Los Italianos” (a legendary ice-cream shop in Granada), they seem to be keener to walk on Gran Vía.
