The contrast between two periods. Cathedral & Royal Chapel

A guided visit inside The Royal Chapel and the Cathedral.

We deal with the interiors of the monuments in order to learn about their architectural differences: Gothic and Renaissance, clearly identifiable; the reason those sites where chosen for construction; the political and ideological matters that determined their symbols; and the gradual change of mentality of a city that only recently had been completely Moslem. We shall also learn about the artists and politicians involved in the construction process and analyse the most remarkable artistic elements together with their iconography programmes.

The duration of the guided visit is approximately two hours. There are no transfers during the visit since the two monuments are attached.

 

The meeting point for the group and guide is Bib-Rambla Square, Meeting Point kiosc 

The time is determined by the client in accordance with the availability of CICERONE & the opning time of the monuments included in the tour.

Visits on week days: 140 € + VAT (16%) = 162,4 €

Visits at weekends and bank holidays: 170 € + VAT (16%) = 197,20 €
